Silent Scenery is a post-rock band hailing from Malaysia.‭ ‬They‭’‬re a dynamic band known to straddle the line between chaos and technicality,‭ ‬and it shows in their live performances.‭ ‬For those who are not aware,‭ ‬the‭ ‬4-piece started out when they released a single on‭ ‬2007‭ ‬and was quickly followed by the release of their‭ ‬EP‭ ‬“When We Escape From The Moonlight‭”‬ on‭ ‬2008.‭ ‬A hardworking band,‭ ‬Silent Scenery has toured around Asia and has played a lot of shows outside their country including shows in Singapore and Thailand.‭ ‬After their‭ ‬2009‭ ‬tour,‭ ‬the band went back into the studio to record their debut full-length titled‭ ‬“These Still Moments‭”‬ which was released on August‭ ‬2011.‭

On September‭ ‬7,‭ ‬2012,‭ ‬they‭’‬ll be on the Philippine leg of their Asian tour.‭ ‬The show will be held at Route‭ ‬196‭ ‬and will feature performances by some of the best post rock bands in the country like Tide/Edit,‭ ‬Hatchobanko,‭ ‬and Earthmover,‭ ‬a band that we‭’‬ve been raving about in these parts.‭

If you want a taste of Silent Scenery‭’‬s unique take on post-rock,‭ ‬come to the gig.‭ ‬Even if you‭’‬re not a fan or if you‭’‬ve never heard of the band prior to this,‭ ‬we‭’‬re damn sure you‭’‬ll love them after witnessing their frenetic live show.‭
